Silent Auction

On Saturday, September 23, a silent auction will be held at the Vancouver Playhouse during the performance of the Flamenco Festival featured guest artists, La Moneta Company. We are expecting an attendance of over 1,000 audience members.

The proceeds from this silent auction will help Flamenco Rosario’s exciting 2018 season!

Rosario Ancer, acclaimed Flamenco dancer and teacher, and her husband, the gifted Flamenco guitarist and teacher Victor Kolstee, formed THE FLAMENCO ROSARIO DANCE COMPANY in Vancouver in 1989. An artistic success from the beginning, the Company has been financially supported as a BC registered nonprofit society since 1997, and was registered as a charity in BC in 1999.

As Directors of the Dance Company, Rosario Ancer and Victor Kolstee, are continuing the growth and evolution of this art form by crossing boundaries of history and culture, and incorporating international dancers, musicians, and vocalists into the development of new work in the Flamenco tradition. Ongoing activities include the popular CUADRO FLAMENCO SERIES, the MAINSTAGE performances that nurture artistic experimentation, and the VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL FLAMENCO FESTIVAL, showcasing local and international flamenco artists.
